Innovative Experiment in Educational Opportunity
Peter's involvement and passion for A Better Chance (www.abetterchance.org) come, in part, from an appreciation for the circumstances the young Scholars endure, which relate to his own struggles as a child. He supports A Better Chance very generously with his time, talent and financial resources.
Peter has served as an active and valuable Board member of A Better Chance since 1994. He is an advocate for the organization with his friends and colleagues and has been instrumental in developing relationships with numerous corporate executives, many of whom were clients and colleagues. He has involved his employees—even his family—in supporting the A Better Chance mission.
That mission resting on a single goal: to substantially increase the number of well-educated minority youth capable of assuming positions of responsibility and leadership in American society. A Better Chance works with students of color in sixth grade through college to help them gain access to broader educational and career opportunities.
