Peter Georgescu’s book arrived on Friday, and it is EXCELLENT!!!! I’m enjoying every single sentence. I knew it was going to be a real winner when the dedication page carried one of my absolute favorite bible verses Eclesiastes 3:1 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to rend, a time to sew, a time to keep silence, and a time to speak.”
I love a book that takes me beyond the surface where I learn new things. I never new about Chautauqua in New York. Romania has always been of great interest to me fueled by my love of language and Romanian being part of the family of romance languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, etc).
Throughout the book, Peter artfully juxtaposes face value (of decisions and actions) with thoughtful recollection (of consequence) and creates an atmosphere of contemplative thought on most definitely what has effected our past and how we as individuals may affect our future. And…I’m only on the third chapter!
Not to be rushed.
