He tells us that by doing so, we can change the world, one by one. Peter shares his personal journey which is a gripping story beginning with his childhood in Romania. He shows us how evil first exposed its face to him when Communism moved in, separated his family and forced the children and grandmother to live in unthinkable conditions. Young Peter’s inner faith and a strong will kept him alive both physically and emotionally through the many cruel tests dispensed to Peter and his brother. The book takes us through their eventual rescue, which is a riveting tale that I envision on the big screen one day, then onward to their “magical” journey to the land of America, where “guardian angels” walk the boys through the next stages of their lives. Peter Georgescu ultimately became a highly successful businessman, but never forgot each step along the way in his journey of life. He learned to make choices and priorities that would constantly make him face the questions buried deep within him: the questions about God, good and evil, and love and compassion. This beautifully written work gives the reader the gift of Peter’s profound insights on many levels.
